Co-Presidents

Marty Deeken

Marty moved to San Francisco the day after college graduation (many moons ago!) to begin her career in Retail Buying. With a degree in Fashion Merchandising from Northern Arizona University, setting up camp in San Francisco was a dream come true.

Her love of all things soccer was inspired by her first soccer coach - her Dad.

Her experience with S.F. United began 6 years ago when her son started with the club. Since then, she has been a team manager, Star referee, and club volunteer for tryouts, Soccer-thon, and other club activities.

When not watching her kids play soccer, she enjoys yoga, hiking, travel, shopping, and spending time with her family. On the rare weekends with no games for the kids, watching Premier League soccer on the couch is almost as good.

She has enjoyed watching the club grow over the past 6 years and is eager to help expand the reach of the foundation to more young athletes.
